Merlin's Magic Wand, 3rd June 2010
Merlin’s Magic Wand’s new outreach initiative, Taking the Magic to the Children, has reached an exciting stage in its development. The first organisation that will benefit from it has been decided… CHASE Hospice in Guildford does fantastic work for children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Among the facilities they already provide are a hydro-therapy pool, sensory room and themed bedrooms for children to stay in. After several meetings with CHASE it has been agreed that MMW (with the brilliant help of Studios) will produce a Merlin-themed play area for the younger children enjoy. This will be situated in a currently unused part of the hospice and will incorporate many sensory elements as well as the trademark Merlin magic!
