A reason why we love what we do? Being able to make a difference in the lives of children!
Variety the Children’s Charity of Greater Kansas City and Rockhurst University’s Physical Therapy program were invited to LEGOLAND Discovery Center Kansas City for a private event to debut their brand new harness system, a first of its kind in Kansas City, which allows immobile children to move freely on their own to play in a social environment they have never been in before.
Master Model Builder, Joe Nunnink, even created the Variety logo out of LEGO® bricks to present to the charity. Combining play, imagination, smiles and LEGO building, the event was a tremendous success for all involved!
A huge thank you also goes to Merlin’s Magic Wand for providing the tickets to these families for an unforgettable and magical experience!
