Meet the Magical Experience Makers Bringing Joy Around the World

April is Global Volunteer Month, and we’re shining a light on the extraordinary Merlin’s Magic Wand volunteers around the world who give their time, creativity, and heart to bring joy to children facing illness, disability, or adversity. From Dallas to London, from California to Verona and beyond, volunteers have been at the center of magical moments. Whether hosting community fundraisers, transforming hospital spaces, or delivering immersive experiences to children who may not be able to visit attractions in person. Highlights include the Dallas team’s energetic summer car wash and SEA LIFE London’s ocean themed outreach at Evelina Children’s Hospital, where colleagues curated hands-on activities and marine artefacts to spark curiosity and imagination. 

In the US and UK, volunteers also power annual charity golf outings, supporting vital fundraising efforts. Meanwhile in Italy, dedicated colleagues helped create a brand-new Gardaland-themed Magic Space in Verona - a vibrant, interactive playroom set to deliver more than 2,200 magical experiences each year. This was one of three Magic Spaces launched globally in 2025. These efforts reflect the compassion, teamwork, and unwavering commitment of volunteers who continue to go above and beyond. This month, and every month, Merlin’s Magic Wand celebrates these remarkable individuals whose generosity helps bring comfort, play, and unforgettable memories to children around the world.
