About Merlin's Magic Wand
Merlin’s Magic Wand is a dedicated children’s charity, bringing joy and connection to children around the world. Our incredible work is made possible through our partnership with Merlin Entertainments, a world leader in branded entertainment destinations, offering a diverse portfolio of resort theme parks, city-centre gateway attractions and LEGOLAND® Resorts which span across the UK, US, Western Europe, China and Asia Pacific.
An expert in bringing world-famous entertainment brands to life, Merlin works with partners including the LEGO® Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Peppa Pig, DreamWorks and Ferrari to create destinations where guests can immerse themselves in a wide array of brand-driven worlds, rides and uplifting learning experiences. Magical Days Out
Magical Days Out offer an unforgettable day of fun and adventure, gifted to children and families who need them most through our incredible partner organisations. We bring the magic to children facing challenges, from illness and disabilities to various forms of adversity. Our goal is to create joy and lasting memories for those who need it most.

Magic On Tour
Magic On Tour is our exciting community outreach initiative that brings the wonder and excitement of Merlin attractions directly to children in schools, hospices, and hospitals. Through this initiative, Merlin team members from across the globe can use Merlin Volunteer Days to create unforgettable, joy-filled experiences—whether in person or virtually.
Working alongside our dedicated attractions, we deliver specially crafted activities and magical visits to brighten the lives of eligible children. With the support of a Magic On Tour grant to make it all happen.
With many Merlin colleagues eager to volunteer, we offer a wide range of virtual experiences as well. Reach out today and bring the magic to those who need it most!
Magic Spaces
In places where children spend a lot of time, such as hospitals, treatment centres, orphanages, special educational needs schools and hospices, we offer Merlin’s Magic Spaces. We work with Merlin Magic Makers (yep, that’s a real job) to design and create attraction-themed areas inspired by some of the world’s favourite attraction brands.
These magical projects cost an average of £25,000 each, which is where much of our fundraising from Merlin Entertainments employees, suppliers and guests goes! Merlin's Magic Wand supporters like you can use our fundraising ideas and campaigns to be a part of the magic of reinventing bathrooms, play areas, gardens, waiting rooms and sensory spaces.
