In partnership with Acorns Children's Hospice, Alton Towers Resort recently welcomed 5-year-old Deen and his family for a magical break filled with joy, excitement and unforgettable moments together.
Deen lives with Quadriparetic Cerebral Palsy and uses a wheelchair due to rapidly deteriorating respiratory function. His family's wish was simple but incredibly meaningful: to create precious memories together while he is still well enough to enjoy new adventures. As a huge CBeebies fan, there was one destination at the very top of Deen's wish list: Alton Towers Resort.
Alongside his siblings, Adam and Layla, and parents, Emily and Humza, Deen enjoyed an overnight stay in a themed CBeebies Hotel room, immersing himself in the world of some of his favourite characters. The family were also treated to priority access and a range of special touches throughout their visit, helping make every moment even more memorable.

One of the highlights of the trip was an Alton Towers Teddy Bear, which Deen absolutely adored and quickly became a treasured keepsake from his adventure!

"Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for this amazing break away at Alton Towers. These memories will be forever cherished. It brought a lot of smiles and joy to our family and truly brought us together.
It was our first ever time going to Alton Towers and you truly made it special. The children were so happy to receive their gifts and keepsakes. It was life-changing and, as a family, we are just very grateful for the opportunity."
