Harvey’s First-Ever Aquarium Adventure at SEA LIFE Sydney

Last month, in partnership with Mates On a Mission, three-year-old Harvey and his family enjoyed a truly unforgettable Magical Day Out at SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, a day filled with wonder, learning, and plenty of smiles.

To make the experience extra special, the aquarium opened its doors early, just for Harvey and his family. They were personally greeted by Guest Experience Host Lanii, who welcomed them and guided them through their very own underwater adventure.

Harvey, who uses a wheelchair, needed a little extra support to navigate the attraction comfortably. With care and attention, the aquarium team ensured the family could explore at their own pace, taking a break in the sensory room and arranging an onsite contact to tend to any additional support needed. 

For Harvey and his three siblings, this was their first-ever visit to an aquarium, and it was a day to remember. During their guided tour, they were captivated by the colorful marine life, asked plenty of curious questions, and loved getting hands-on in the rock pools. Through touch and play, they discovered the magic of the ocean in a way that was both fun and educational.

To make the day even more memorable, the SEA LIFE Sydney team surprised the family with a goody bag full of gifts and treats, including under-the-sea themed merchandise. Harvey’s favorite? A finger puppet Baby Shark book that he couldn’t stop smiling about!

And the magic didn’t end there, SEA LIFE Sydney also gifted the family tickets to Sydney Zoo, giving Harvey and his siblings another “first” to look forward to.
