Toni's Magical Day Out at LEGOLAND® Billund Resort

Four-year-old Toni, who lives with multiple complex medical conditions, was recently treated to an Enhanced Magical Day Out at LEGOLAND® Billund Resort, thanks to Merlin’s Magic Wand and the support of dedicated team member Lene.
With Magical Day Out tickets and a €575 enhancement fund, Toni, his brother, and their parents were able to step away from the challenges of daily life and enjoy a day filled with fun, laughter, and treasured family moments. The trip was kept a complete surprise from the children.
“We loved the time together with no worries, just being a family. The kids loved the big surprise, we didn’t tell them we were going to LEGOLAND beforehand! They especially enjoyed driving the Duplo train, swapping LEGO figures with team members, and the joy of sweets and rides. Despite the rain and long journey, it was a beautiful day filled with joy and laughter. We are so grateful for your generosity in making it happen and for the memories we will always cherish.”
For Lene, supporting families like Toni’s is one of the most rewarding parts of her role at LEGOLAND Billund Resort.
“As a PA, I have many different tasks, one of which is to help and support families who apply for a visit to our beautiful LEGOLAND Park in Billund. My work with Merlin’s Magic Wand makes me feel I am truly making a difference, especially for families who are facing difficult challenges in their everyday lives. And when you get such wonderful feedback from one of the families we supported, it is just an extra bonus, it really makes me feel lucky to work in a place like LEGOLAND Billund.”
