Merlin’s Magic Wand is an independent non-profit bringing joy and connection to children across the USA. Our work is made possible through our partnership with Merlin Entertainments, a global leader in branded entertainment, with resort theme parks, city-centre attractions, and LEGOLAND® Resorts spanning the UK, US, Europe, China, and Asia Pacific.
Through this partnership, we deliver three programs across Merlin’s US attractions, creating magical experiences for children and families who need them most.

Magical Days Out
Magical Days Out give children and families who need it most an unforgettable day of fun and adventure, made possible through our incredible partner organizations. We bring the magic to children facing challenges, from illness and disabilities to other forms of adversity, creating joy and memories that last a lifetime.

Magic On Tour
Magic On Tour is our community outreach program, bringing the wonder of Merlin attractions directly to children in schools, hospices, and hospitals. Through this initiative, Merlin team members around the world use Merlin Volunteer Days to create unforgettable, joy-filled experiences - either in person or virtually.
Working with our dedicated attractions, we deliver specially designed activities and magical visits to brighten the lives of children, supported by a Magic On Tour grant.
You can now apply for a Magic On Tour session! With many Merlin colleagues eager to volunteer, we also offer a wide range of virtual experiences. Get in touch today and help bring the magic to children who need it most.

Merlin's Magic Spaces
In the places where children spend the most time - hospitals, treatment centers, special needs schools, and hospices - we create Magic Spaces. Working with Merlin Magic Makers, our design teams transform everyday areas into immersive, attraction-themed spaces inspired by some of the world’s most loved brands.
Each Magic Space costs around $30,000 to create, with generous support from Merlin colleagues, suppliers, and attraction guests. As a supporter of Merlin’s Magic Wand, you can join the magic by fundraising to help reinvent essential spaces such as bathrooms, play areas, gardens, waiting rooms, and sensory rooms.
