Merlin’s Magic Wand is a children’s charity dedicated to bringing joy and connection to children around the world. Our work is made possible through our partnership with Merlin Entertainments, a global leader in branded entertainment, with theme parks, city-centre attractions, and LEGOLAND® Resorts across the UK, US, Europe, China, and Asia Pacific.
Merlin brings world-famous brands to life, collaborating with partners such as the LEGO® Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Peppa Pig, DreamWorks, and Ferrari to create immersive attractions filled with rides, experiences, and learning opportunities.

Magical Days Out
Magical Days Out give children and families who need it most an unforgettable day of fun and adventure, thanks to our amazing partner organisations. We bring the magic to children facing illness, disabilities, or adversity, creating joy and memories that last a lifetime.

Magic On Tour
Magic On Tour is our exciting community outreach initiative, bringing the wonder of Merlin attractions directly to children in schools, hospices, and hospitals. Through this programme, Merlin team members around the world use Merlin Volunteer Days to create unforgettable, joy-filled experiences - either in person or virtually.
Working with our dedicated attractions, we deliver specially designed activities and magical visits to brighten the lives of eligible children, supported by a Magic On Tour grant.
With many Merlin colleagues eager to volunteer, we also offer a wide range of virtual experiences. Get in touch today and help bring the magic to children who need it most!
Magic Spaces
Merlin’s Magic Spaces bring magic to the places where children spend a lot of their time - hospitals, treatment centres, orphanages, special educational needs schools, and hospices. Working with our Merlin Magic Makers (yes, that’s a real job!), we design and create attraction-themed areas inspired by some of the world’s favourite brands.
Each project costs around £25,000, funded largely by Merlin Entertainments employees, suppliers, and guests. Supporters like you can join the magic too, using our fundraising campaigns and ideas to help transform bathrooms, play areas, gardens, waiting rooms, and sensory spaces for children who need them most.
