Eesa's Birthday Magical Day Out at Alton Towers Resort

Sometimes, a little magic can help heal big hearts. When three-year-old Eesa’s mum, Sidra, reached out to Merlin’s Magic Wand, she hoped to bring a bit of light to her son’s birthday after a heartbreaking year. Eesa’s dad, Shuaib, had sadly passed away in March 2025 before the family could take their long-awaited trip to Alton Towers together. What followed was a celebration filled with love, laughter, and moments that sparkled with kindness.

Working hand in hand with the Alton Towers Resort team, we made sure Eesa’s birthday would be one to remember. Eesa, his mum, and his cousins Mehreen, Zahra, and Zaynah were treated to the full VIP experience - because if anyone deserved a magical day, it was this little family.

From the moment they arrived, the day was packed with surprises. Express Car Parking, a personal host to welcome them, and front-of-the-line access meant they were the very first guests to open the park that morning. That’s right - Eesa helped count down and officially open Alton Towers for the day!

The fun kept rolling with character meet and greets, fast track passes for the rides, and plenty of treats for the kids. Every giggle, every wide-eyed moment was captured thanks to their unlimited photo voucher, because memories like these deserve to be treasured.

When the day’s adventures came to a close, the magic didn’t stop. The family checked into the CBeebies Hotel, where they were met with birthday decorations, surprise gifts, and all the CBeebies fun they could dream of. From dancing and games to shows and laughter, the joy was infectious.

And just to top it all off, the family received a special enhancement fund to enjoy a delicious evening meal and pick up souvenirs to remember their incredible stay.
